A family property before the revolution, Alain Brumont created the current vineyard in 1980 by rehabilitating old land that had been abandoned for nearly 50 years.

A phenomenon in the world of wine, Alain Brumont has been able to uniquely exploit the terroir of Madiran and its emblematic grape variety, Tannat, to create great wines (Montus, Bouscassé) and exceptional wines (La Tyre) that are now celebrated all over the world and take their place alongside the greatest French wines.
