The Pol Roger Champagne House was founded more than 160 years ago when in 1849, Pol Roger made his first wine sale to a merchant in Aÿ, Pol Roger's native village. The company moved to Epernay in 1851.

Pol Roger Champagne is inseparable from the emblematic figure of Winston Churchill, a die-hard fan of the House, who liked to say: "it is the most delectable address in the world". The famous "Sir Winston Churchill" cuvée was born in 1975 with an extraordinary vintage blanc de blanc.

Today, Maison Pol Roger is present all over the world. The year 2001 saw the launch of the "Rich" cuvée approaching a demi-sec. In 2007, the Pure cuvée, Extra Brut, was added to the range.

Maison Pol Roger relies on an 89-hectare vineyard and is constantly strengthening the quality of its supplies.
