Château des Gravières is a 45-hectare family wine estate founded in 1847 and located in the heart of the Graves, in the village of Portets. It has been run for 7 generations by the Labuzan family and today by Thierry Labuzan in charge of the work in the vineyard and Denis Labuzan, oenologist, at the helm of the winemaking.

The vineyard occupies one of the beautiful gravelly plateaus of the Graves appellation and is composed of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Château des Gravières has set up a sustainable viticulture, centred on the precious terroir of the soils of the Graves. It is the very good knowledge of the soils and the quality of the grapes that determine the potential of the wines, which are deep and offer great ageing.
