Château Marquis de Terme is a wine estate in Bordeaux, which extends over 39.5 hectares in the Médoc, in the Margaux appellation, and whose wines are classified 4th Grand Cru in the official classification of 1855.
It was in 1762 that the estate took the name of Château Marquis de Terme, through the marriage of François de Peguilhan, Marquis de Terme , to Mademoiselle Ledoulx d'Emplet. For more than a century, it then became the property of the Feuillerat family, who truly brought the estate to excellence and their efforts were rewarded in 1855 when it was classified as one of the Grands Crus of the Médoc.
The recent history is marked by Pierre Sénéclauze who acquired it in 1935 and his sons, Pierre-Louis, Philippe and Jean Sénéclauze, are the current owners. Ludovic David has been managing the entire estate since 2009: he continues to modernise it and develop its international recognition.
