PERSAN

Persan is an ancient black grape variety from Savoy now grown on the slopes of the Combe de Savoie giving a low yield. It is a wine that has a lot of tannins and acidity allowing it to age well. It is a wine with a dark red colour, brilliant, on the nose it reveals aromas of red fruits, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, and violets. On the palate these same aromas are present, as well as the tannins, with a nice length. Persian is powerful and persistent and goes very well with red meats and Savoy cheeses.
