VIOGNIER

The Viognier grape variety is planted mainly in France and Australia, and also in the United States. the best known appellations are Condrieu (France), Barossa Valley (Australia) or Paso Robles (USA).

In white wines, it is used mainly in blending and rarely alone as in Condrieu in the Rhone Valley. It offers rich aromas of yellow fruits and citrus.

It is even used in the red wines of Côte-Rôtie in the Rhône Valley
