Château La Verrière is a family-run wine estate in Bordeaux that now covers 60 hectares. It was reborn in the early 1960s under the impetus of André Bessette with a complete restructuring of the vineyard.

His son Alain joined him in 1999 to give a new impetus to the estate with the addition of new plots of good quality and the modernisation of the cellars (temperature control, pneumatic press, micro-oxygenation).

Château La Verrière produces a red wine in the Bordeaux Supérieur appellation, a white wine and a rosé wine, all regularly awarded by the best guides and in wine competitions in Paris and elsewhere, while the young and talented Alain Bessette has twice been elected in the top five producers of the Bordeaux Supérieur AOP.
