El Esteco is an Argentine winery founded in 1892 by French immigrants, David and Salvador Michel, pioneers of Argentine viticulture.
The Estate is located in the Calchaquíes valleys at 1800 meters above sea level, in Cafayate, a desert surrounded by lush forests and rivers. This exceptional terroir benefits from significant temperature differences between day and night and a sunny climate all year round, ideal conditions for producing exceptional wines, with marked and concentrated aromas.
El Esteco produces the Amaru, Don David, Ciclos and Altimus cuvées, with red wines made from the Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tannat and Malbec grape varieties and white wines from the Chardonnay and Torrontès grape varieties.
