Domaine Edmond Monnot et Fils covers 9 hectares, the majority of which, 8.5 hectares, is in the Maranges appellation, in red and white.
Stéphane and Christelle Monnot are now at the head of the estate, which was created by Stéphane's grandfather at the end of the 1920s. In 2009, they undertook a major modernisation of the estate with a new vat room and in 2011 set up the harvest in 50-litre boxes in order to preserve the grapes intact until the sorting table.
The wines are aged for 12 months in vats for the Regional Appellations and from 12 to 18 months in barrels for the Premiers Crus and Villages, depending on the vintage. The estate is in a sustainable way.
