Le Mas des Agrunelles is a wine estate in the Languedoc region that extends over 25 hectares to the north-west of Montpellier, on the Terrasses du Larzac in Argelliers and Murles.
It was created by Stéphanie Ponson and Frédéric Porro after their training in Montpellier and their apprenticeship with winemakers such as Didier Barral and Olivier Jullien, who are very involved in biodynamic cultivation. The estate has been cultivated organically since 2003 and biodynamic since 2010. Vinification is carried out without intervention or oenological products.
This singular terroir, made up of limestone soils, historically land of sheep and charcoal, and its austere climate with large temperature variations between day and night, offer only low yields.
