It was in 1867 that Émile Beyer founded the Alsace wine house, currently run by Marc Beyer, but the Beyers had already been winegrowers in Eguisheim since 1580.

From the best slopes of Eguisheim, Beyer offers a wide range of Alsace wines, from Sylvaner and Pinot Blanc to Riesling, Tokay Pinot Gris and Gewurztraminer. Dry white wines that Domaine Léon Beyer presents under prestigious labels such as Les Écaillers and Comte d'Eguisheim or great sweet wines in late harvest and selections of noble grains.
