Château Beauregard is a Pomerol wine estate whose vineyard extends over 17.5 hectares planted with Merlot and Cabernet Franc, divided into more than 35 plots on predominantly gravelly soils, complemented by clay and sand.
Château Beauregard was born in the 12th century with the Knights Hospitaller of Saint John of Jerusalem. The magnificent current Gironde Charterhouse dates from the Napoleonic era and served as a model for the Guggenheim family's mansion on the Long Island peninsula. Viticulture took hold in the middle of the 18th century.
More recently, in 2014, the Moulin and Cathiard families bought Château Beauregard and thoroughly transformed the property with a rehabilitation of the Chartreuse and the construction of a new vat room. The entire estate is managed in Organic Farming.
