Maison Champy has been established in Burgundy for 3 centuries and owns 21 hectares of vines on the Côte de Beaune, a large part of which is farmed organically. It has prestigious crus such as the Beaune 1er cru "Aux Cras", the Clos de Bully in Pernand-Vergelesses or the Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru.
Founded in 1720, Maison Champy is the oldest house in Burgundy. It was closely linked to the Hospices de Beaune, from which it bought almost the entire harvest by tender in 1812. At the end of the 19th century, Champy prospered thanks to the acquisition of prestigious enclosures. His know-how was rewarded at international fairs and exhibitions such as in Paris in 1889 and 1900, or in St Louis in the United States in 1904.
In 2005, the Domaine began its conversion to biodynamic agriculture on a few plots.
In October 2016, Maison Champy became part of the AdVini group and is now managed by Thierry Bellicaud, who is also in charge of Maison Laroche in Chablis.
