The Vérité Wines estate is owned by Jackson Family Wines and is managed by Pierre Seillan, a French winemaker who also works at Château Lassègue in Saint-Émilion and Domaine d'Arcanaum in Tuscany.  He is assisted by his daughter Hélène at the estate in California.

Vérité Wines is located in Sonoma County, California on the Bennett Valley, Alexander Valley, Chalk Hill and Knights Valley appellations. It'sone of the richest wine regions in the world that benefits from the very favorable influence of the Pacific Ocean. The easternmost appellations of Sonoma enjoy a warmer, drier climate and offer exceptional terroir for Bordeaux grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc.  The freshness is sufficient to retain the natural acidity necessary for great wines that can be kept for a long time such as those of Vérité Wines.

Of these four appellations, Pierre Seillan has selected around fifty micro-crus for the blending of his wines, each of which is harvested and fermented separately, then aged in French oak barrels of different toasting intensities.  He produces three exceptional vintages: La Muse, La Joie and Le Désir.
