Château Larmande is a 20-hectare wine estate in Saint-Emilion in the Saint-Emilion Grand Cru appellation whose wine is a grand cru classé. The grape varieties are composed of Merlot (77%), Cabernet Franc (19%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (4%).
Château Larmande is a very good representative of the great classic wines of Saint-Emilion, with an extra touch of elegance brought by the large proportion of Cabernet Franc.
It became part of La Mondiale insurance in the 1990s, as Château Soutard and Véronique Corporandy is in charge of the vinification of the two wines.
