VALLES CALCHAQUIES
The Calchaquies Valleys (valles calchaquies in Spanish) is a region in northwestern Argentina that stretches over 500 kilometers of mountains and valleys through the regions of Salta, Tucuman and Catamarca.
The first wineries were created at the end of the 19th century, such as Domaine El Esteco founded in 1892 by French immigrants, brothers David and Salvador Michel.
