The grape varieties are 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc
Created in the 17th century, it was then fragmented and dispersed according to succession and it was in 1982, thanks to the efforts of Henri Martin, that the property was reconstituted as it was in 1855, the year of the classification of Médoc wines. ImportantInvestments have been made over the last 40 years and Château Saint-Pierre is now recognized as one of the best representatives of the Grands Crus Classés of Saint-Julien. It is run by Françoise Triaud, Henri Martin's daughter, and her husband Jean-Louis Triaud.
