Domaine Le Temps Retrouvé is a wine estate located in Roussillon, in the heart of the Albères massif in the Pyrenees, managed by Michaël Georget in a totally natural way.
Originally from the Loire and passionate about biodynamics, after several experiences in Chinon, Alsace (with Jean Schaetzel) and at the Moulin de Breuil in the Albères, he settled in the village of Laroque-des-Albères in 2012 and took over a vineyard that had been abandoned for about twenty years. He immediately adopts working with a draught horse and works 100% naturally and without sulphur.
The small vineyard includes 3 hectares of 130-year-old Carignan vines, a 40-year-old plot of Macabeu vines, a 90-year-old Grenache Blanc and Grenache Noir plot, as well as several small plots of Syrah, Grenache Gris and Mourvèdre.
He works the soil, intertwined with clays, silica, mica schists, quartz and gneiss, with the help of his two draught horses, lets his sheep graze on the grass in the middle of the vines, has introduced bees for pollination, fertilizes the soil with chamomile and nettle, and develops polyculture (cereals, flowers, vegetables, herbs) on the estate, all in a biodynamic approach.
