Château Moulin du Cadet is a Saint-Emilion winery in Bordeaux, a small vineyard of 5 hectares located on the Cadet plateau from which it takes its name, north of Saint-Emilion.
The history of the vine here dates back to Gallo-Roman times. In 1989, Jean-Pierre Moueix acquired the estate and over the next fifteen years, he undertook major investments in the vineyard and cellar with the installation of temperature-controlled vats. This was followed by organic farming certification in the early 2000s, followed by biodynamic certification in 2008.
In 2012, it was listed as a grand cru in the official Saint-Émilion classification. It is now in the hands of Isabelle and Pierre Blois-Moueix. .
