ARAMON

Once appreciated for its high productivity, Aramon has been used for decades in French table wine blends. In the 1950s, Aramon was one of the most cultivated grape varieties in Languedoc, with the planted area of this grape variety reaching more than 150,000 hectares, whereas it was barely 10,000 hectares in the early 2000s.

Harvested en masse, almost eradicated, Aramon has been reborn in recent years to produce light and fruity red wines.
