Domaine de Triennes is located in Nans-les-Pins, east of Aix-en-Provence, and produces rosé, red and white wines in IGP Méditerranée.
Domaine de Triennes began its organic conversion in 2008 with Ecocert and is now certified organic for white and red wines. For rosé wines, the estate buys grapes to meet the high demand, some of which are not organically grown.
The wines are refined, on freshness and aromas for white wines and rosés and on elegance and fruit for red wines.
The Domaine owes its name, "Triennes", to the triennia, bacchanalia that took place every three years under the Roman Empire and the prefix "tri" refers to the 3 partners who originally created the Domaine in 1989: Jacques Seysses, founder of Domaine Dujac in Burgundy, Aubert de Villaine of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti and Michel Macaux.
