Chateau Chasse-Spleen Bordeaux White 2022
Here is the white wine from Château Chasse-Spleen, famous for its red wine classified as a cru bourgeois of Bordeaux in AOP Moulis-en-Médoc, in the 2022 vintage.
It offers a beautiful clear and bright yellow colour with marked aromas of grapefruit and lychee on the nose enhanced by floral notes brought by Sauvignon. On the palate, the lively attack is followed by a nice roundness with fat and a persistent and aromatic finish.
Château Chasse-Spleen's white wine was born in the early 1990s with the planting of 2 hectares of Sémillon (65%) and Sauvignon Blanc (35%) vines. There was a lot of trial and error, both in the vineyard and in the cellar, and the first vintages remained very confidential, tasted by family members, friends and the Château's wine team.
