Birichino Pinot Noir Saint Georges Central Coast California Red 2022
This 2022 Pinot Noir Saint Georges from Birichino, in the Central Coast of California, in the Santa Cruz Montains AVA appellation, is made from Lilo Vineyards, young Pinot Noir vines planted at an altitude of 300 meters on sandy and schist soils on very steep slopes, overlooking the bay of Monterrey. Yields are low, the grapes are harvested manually in small crates and fermentation is carried out with indigenous yeasts, the wines are neither filtered nor fined.
This Pinot Noir offers a brilliant light red colour and a nose marked by red fruits, cherry and raspberry. On the palate, the expression is very greedy, sapid, with a lot of freshness. It can be enjoyed today or kept in the cellar until about 2030. It will be an ideal accompaniment to cold cuts, dried meats and then, with a little age, slightly spicy dishes.
La Bouteille Dorée invites you to find the Californian wines of Birichino and a fine selection of American wines that you can also offer in wine gift boxes.
