This 2020 Chassagne-Montrachet Les Pierres from Domaine Olivier Leflaive is a white wine from the Côte de Beaune from a plot planted on a rocky bank that was used to build the wash house located nearby, on the territory of Corpeau. It is made in non-certified organic farming.
2020 is a historically early vintage with the harvest ending in August, a summer of high heat with very little rain which made it possible to obtain a perfect state of health of the grapes and a very good balance of sugars and acidity.
It is a beautiful white wine from Burgundy with a delicate nose on mineral notes of citron and pear, intense and full-bodied on the palate with a supple and persistent finish. It will be a perfect accompaniment to noble fish such as sea bass and sea bass and can be kept in the cellar until 2028-2030.
