The clay-limestone soils give, with this cuvée "Le V", a wine with an intense colour and aromas of red and black fruits (blackcurrant) on the nose. A 2011 vintage to be enjoyed before the 2009.

"Le V" is a nod to Vincent Couly, the youngest son of Bertrand Couly, for whom this cuvée is the first co-production with his father.

The Pierre and Bertrand Couly estate extends over 20 hectares in Chinon, a vineyard certified "high environmental value" in the Chinon red and Chinon white appellations.
