It comes from the vines grouped around the family home of the Domaine in Saint-Louans, a terroir passed down from generation to generation since the fifteenth century by the Farou family, Bertrand Couly's maternal family.

The Pierre and Bertrand Couly estate extends over 20 hectares in Chinon, a vineyard certified "high environmental value" in the Chinon red and Chinon white appellations.
