Domaine Michel et Stephane Ogier Condrieu Les Old Vines de Georges Vernay White 2014
This Condrieu 2014 "Les très vieilles vignes de Georges Vernay" from Domaine Michel and Stéphane Ogier is the estate's exceptional cuvée which comes from vines over 60 years old on a very small plot of 0.3 hectares.
It is a superb Condrieu with a complex nose of yellow and white fruits (apricot, peach) with subtle notes of white pepper and ginger and of great breadth and power on the palate, with a long, very slightly spicy finish.
It will be a perfect accompaniment to scallops with pan-fried vegetables, stir-fried poultry with morels or ravioli with langoustines.
