Fast and safe delivery of your large bottles
La Bouteille Dorée offers a wide range of wine gift boxes and in particular large bottles of wine and Champagne: 3-litre Double-Magnum or Jeroboam bottles, 6-litre Methuselah or Imperial bottles, 9-litre Salmanazar bottles, 12-litre Balthazar bottles, 15-litre Nebuchadnezzar bottles and even 18-litre Melchior or Salomon bottles.
Most of these large bottles are offered in original wooden cases.
They are stored in our secure cellars and warehouses at controlled temperature and humidity in Paris and Bordeaux.
The packaging and transport of large-size bottles is complex, especially from the Methuselah size, the weight of which exceeds 15 kilos. For deliveries of any large bottle of 3 litres or over, we do not use traditional postal carriers and exclusively go through carriers specialized in wine logistics.
This is the reason why on our store, we confirm a delivery time of between 5 to15 working days depending on the bottle size and the producer of the wine. This time includes preparation and packaging of the bottle as well as the actual transport time: we organise daily departures from our warehouses in Bordeaux and Paris..
