Paul Jaboulet Aine Gigondas Pierre Aiguille 2014

This 2014 Gigondas Pierre Aiguille from Paul Jaboulet Aîné is a red wine from the southern Rhône Valley made from the Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre grape varieties. It offers a beautiful deep ruby red colour and marked notes of red fruit on the nose. The attack on the palate is frank, the tannins are firm and the finish is powerful and persistent.
It will be the perfect accompaniment to a lamb navarin with vegetables or a roast lamb shoulder with thyme flowers. It can be enjoyed today and kept in the cellar until 2025.
Pierre Aiguille's vineyard owes its name to the mountain on which it is located, jagged by erosion. Find the wines of the Paul Jaboulet Aîné estates currently on sale at La Bouteille Dorée.
