The Chardonnay vines of this 2015 Givry Blanc Champ Pourot have an average age of 50 years. The plots are located on a silty clay ridge and represent 1.50 hectares with very little slope.
The wine has a straw yellow colour and floral and white fruit notes on the nose. Without being very mineral, it is unctuous on the palate, enveloped, with a medium nervousness and a nice balance. It is best enjoyed young but can be kept for up to 5 to 7 years.
Domaine Ragot is now led by Nicolas Ragot who is one of the very best winemakers of the Givry appellation.
