Château Musar 1995 is an exceptional red wine from Lebanon produced in the south of the Bekaa Valley, made from a blend of old vines with an average age of 40 years, some over 80 years old, of Cabernet Sauvignon, Carignan and Cinsault. Yields are low, from 15 to 35 hl/ha and the stony soils on a limestone rock offer a terroir perfectly suited to the production of great red wines.

1995 was a superb vintage marked by very good weather conditions, with a hot summer and cooler nights. The harvest took place in mid-September as usual and the quality of the harvest was of exceptional quality, although volumes were reduced by a third. The bottles were released in 2003. This vintage is considered to be one of the greatest ever produced by Château Musar.

After nearly thirty years of cellaring, this Château Musar 1995 offers a very beautiful nose of black fruit and on the palate, a texture that is still very firm, very elegant, with a long finish.

After decanting and aerating in a carafe for at least an hour, serve the wine at 18°C. It will be a perfect accompaniment to roasted and grilled meats, especially lamb, game and mature cheeses.
