Château La Verrerie offers us one of the most beautiful red wines from the AOC Luberon with this prestigious Grand Deffand cuvée. In the 2010 vintage, which produced wines with good acidity in the southern part of the Rhône Valley, the 2010 Grand Deffand offers a brilliant garnet colour with purplish reflections and a nose that opens with aromas of leather, blackcurrant and roasting. It is a wine that combines power and creaminess.
Château La Verrerie is located in Puget-sur-Durance, in the south of the Luberon massif, where prehistoric wine vats, carved into the rock, more than 4,000 years old, have been found. Before reviving the cultivation of vines, Château La Verrerie was a glass factory.
