Château du Tertre 1988 is a great red wine from Margaux, 5th Grand Cru Classé, with 30 years of cellar storage. The 1988 vintage is part of the famous trilogy of exceptional vintages in Bordeaux with 1989 and 1990. A hot and very dry summer of 1988 made it possible to obtain grapes at the ideal ripeness and, even if the harvest of the late grape varieties, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot, was brought forward due to the rains in September, the great wines of Margaux such as this Château du Tertre offer good ageing potential.

A slightly closed nose that then opens with beautiful aromas of ripe fruit and spicy notes, with a balanced structure and a lot of density in the mouth.
