Château La Tour de Bessan 1979 is a Bordeaux red wine in AOP Margaux and classified Cru Bourgeois, a beautiful bottle of Margaux in a good and classic Bordeaux vintage to celebrate the 40th birthday of a loved one.

Château La Tour de Bessan owes its name to a 13th century tower located in Soussans. It covers about 30 ha in the communes of Soussans, Arsac and Cantenac and has been the property of Lucien Lurton since 1972. The estate received Terra Vitis approval in the 2003 vintage, at the same time as its classification as a Cru Bourgeois, while a new vat room, a barrel cellar and a tasting room were installed in a new building designed by the Toulouse architect Vincent Defos du Rau. In 2012, the Petit Verdot grape variety was introduced into the vineyard.
