Domaine Louis Jadot Marsannay Red 2015
This 2015 Marsannay red from Domaine Louis Jadot is a red wine from Burgundy made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes. The Marsannay appellation was born in 1987 and was the first appellation in Burgundy to produce red, rosé and white wines. It is located in the far north of the Côte d'Or, just south of Dijon.
On the nose, it offers beautiful aromas of fruit, blackcurrant and wild blackberry, and on the palate, a beautiful fruity substance, very well balanced with a refreshing acidity and supple tannins. It will be the perfect accompaniment to zucchini fritters, vegetable tian, chicken yakitori, snails à la bourguignonne, eggs en meurette, blue-veined frogs' legs or goat cheese.
