This 2018 Marsannay red from Domaine Pierre Bourée is a Burgundy wine from the north of the Côte de Nuits, near Dijon, and which has the distinction of being the only Village appellation in Burgundy producing wines in all three colors.

This Marsannay has an intense red colour, with a nose marked by red fruits (sour cherry, strawberry) and black fruits (blackcurrant, blueberry). On the palate, the attack is powerful and then gives way to a fruity, round and greedy expression, with a persistent finish.

It can be enjoyed today or stored in the cellar until about 2025-2027. It will be an ideal accompaniment to a prime rib with bone marrow, a hanger steak with shallots or, after a few years, a powerful mature cheese such as an Époisses.
