This 2016 Mercurey red 1er Cru Les Myglands is a monopoly of Domaine Faiveley and it is offered here in Jeroboam, a beautiful and large 3 liter bottle. A beautiful, warm wine with aromas of black and red fruit on the nose, accompanied by woody and smoky notes. On the palate, we find the fruit very present with a lot of amplitude and very silky tannins.
The name of this Mercurey 1er cru probably comes from the English "My Land", the name given to this clos by an English dignitary. A perfect wine to enjoy today with a beef filletand candied vegetable tian or a strawberry tart, and that can be easily stored until 2026-2028.
