Beaulieu Vineyard Georges de Latour Private Reserve Rutherford Napa Valley California USA
This “Georges de Latour Private Reserve” cuvée is one of the most emblematic wines from the Napa valley in California, produced by Beaulieu Vineyard since the 1936 vintage, made exclusively from Cabernet-Sauvignon on the historic Ranches No. 1 and 2 plots, benefiting from the well-drained alluvial soils of the Rutherford appellation.
It is a full-bodied and powerful wine, characterised by notes of black fruit (blackcurrant, black cherry, blackberry), violet, cocoa, mocha and tobacco, graphite, a much-concentrated wine balanced by a beautiful freshness, and silky and spicy tannins characteristic of the appellation, called "Rutherford Dust". Ageing is traditionally carried out in French oak barrels.
The available vintages are displayed below: click on the desired vintage to display its price. It can be tasted today or kept in the cellar for between 20 and 40 years depending on the vintage.
La Bouteille Dorée offers a selection of Beaulieu Vineyard wines and American wines that you can also offer in a wine gift box.
