Domaine Faiveley Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Les Damodes Red 2008

Domaine Faiveley Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Les Damodes Red 2008

68.90 € Tax included

The expressive nose of this Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Les Damodes 2008 opens with notes of strawberry, raspberry and spices with hints of toast and roasted. The attack on the palate is full, followed by a good tannic structure and a nice acidity for a powerful and round palate. This premier cru of Nuits-Saint-Georges is a wine with a beautiful balance and very ripe tannins.

The name "The Damodes" could come from a female trinity presiding over the good of the earth, or perhaps it refers to druids living there. Find Domaine Faiveley's wines currently on sale at La Bouteille Dorée.
