584.00 € Tax included

Echo de Lynch-Bages 2013 is a red wine in the Pauillac appellation and the second wine of Château Lynch-Bages, 5th Grand Cru Classé, from a selection of plots and young vines of Lynch-Bages, with 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Merlot.

It offers the characteristic flavour, aroma and length of the great Pauillac wines and benefits from the same attentive care from the vine to the cellar as the great wine. Round and supple, with a beautiful structure, Echo de Lynch-Bages has a good ageing potential in this 2013 vintage and can be enjoyed today or kept for several years in the cellar.

Since the 2008 vintage, Echo de Lynch-Bages has been the new name of Château Lynch-Bages' second wine, which has been Château Haut-Bages Averous since 1976. It is a very old property in Pauillac acquired by André Cazes. Echo is a reference to the nymph of Greek mythology, punished by Hera and deprived of language for distracting her when Zeus wished to linger with some beautiful mortal. Thus, if he never speaks first, Echo de Lynch-Bages shares the character and elegance of the great wine.
