Domaine Patrick Baudoin Quarts de Chaume Les Zersilles 2010 50cl
This 2010 Quarts de Chaume Les Zersilles from Domaine Patrick Baudoin is a great sweet Loire wine made from the Chenin grape variety and grapes in the third year of conversion to organic farming. The terroir of Quart de Chaume is an exceptional vineyard of 50 hectares in the heart of the Coteaux du Layon, which is today known worldwide for its extraordinary sweet wines.
A beautiful wine with a golden yellow colour and an intense nose with notes of acacia, candied orange, white flowers and exotic fruits. The attack on the palate is round with a perfect balance between mellow and acidity, with aromas of white flowers and yellow fruits and the finish is long with mineral and nutty notes.
This wine will be the perfect accompaniment to spicy, sweet and savory dishes, pan-fried foie gras, spicy lamb curry, quail with morels or a creamed chicken.
