This Rully 1er Cru Clos du Chapitre 2020 is a beautiful red wine from the Côte Chalonnaise produced by Domaine Jaeger-Defaix and made from a fully walled plot of just over 1 hectare that it owns as a monopoly. It is a fine, racy and structured wine, with very good ageing potential.
Yields are very controlled in the vineyard (severe pruning, disbudding and green harvesting if necessary) as well as in the cellar with rigorous sorting.
Since the 2019 vintage, this cuvée has been certified organic.
