This 2019 Saint-Bris from Domaine des Remparts is a dry and fragrant white wine. The colour is straw yellow and the nose offers notes of citrus fruits (grapefruit, mandarin), peach, blackcurrant bud, flint, and sometimes exotic nuances (lychee). On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, fruity, floral, with a mineral finish.
Saint-Bris is a somewhat different appellation in Burgundy because it produces wines made from the Sauvignon grape variety, unlike all other appellations where Chardonnay is the only grape variety.
