Double Canyon Cabernet-Sauvignon Horse Heaven Hills Columbia Valley Washington USA Red 2018
This 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon from Double Canyon is an American red wine that demonstrates the quality of adaptation of this great grape variety to the superb terroir of Horse Heaven Hills in the Columbia Valley in the state of Washington in the extreme northwest of the United States.
It offers a rich nose with plum aromas with fresh touches of red berries. The attack on the palate is very silky with the same fruity expression of plum, peach and raspberry and the melted tannins coat a fresh and sapid substance. The lingering finish is expressed with subtle nuances of coffee and heather.
It can be stored until about 2033-2035 and will go very well with a shoulder of lamb, cheeses such as Cheddar or a dark chocolate dessert.
