Domaine FL (Fournier-Longchamps) is a 34-hectare wine estate whose vineyards extend on both sides of the Loire, in the communes of Savennières (right bank) and Rochefort-sur-Loire (left bank). Located on clay-schist hillsides, the vines enjoy a mild climate and beautiful sunshine.
It mainly produces dry, sweet and sweet white wines made from the Chenin grape variety in the Savennières, Savennières-Roches-aux-Moines, Coteaux du Layon, Quarts de Chaume and Anjou blanc appellations. A few red wines made from the Cabernet Franc grape variety complete the range in the Anjou and Anjou-Villages appellations.
The Domaine is managed by Julien Fournier and the vineyard is cultivated according to the rules of organic and biodynamic farming. Low yields are favoured to maintain the quality of the grapes, in terms of maturity and concentration.
