GAMAY
The Gamay grape variety produces acidic and fruity red wines in their youth that can age very well when they come from the best terroirs, Beaujolais for example. Gamay represents 32,000 ha cultivated worldwide, mainly in France and a little in Switzerland, the Beaujolais region representing 3/4 of the cultivated areas. Savoie and Loire are the other production regions. Some wines from the Gamay grape variety: Brouilly, Fleury, Morgon, Moulin-à-Vent (France).
