Holdvölgy, grands vins blancs de Tokai, vins de Hongrie

Holdvölgy produces great dry white wines, Szamorodni and beautiful sweet wines from Tokaj, a region of Hungary that has been famous for centuries for its sweet wines with exceptional ageing potential.

After several years of research and meetings to find the ideal terroir, combining the complexity of the soils and the quality of the sun's exposure, Pascal Demko founded Holdvölgy, the "valley of the moon", in 2004 and offered his first wines for sale in 2011.

The estate now covers 25 hectares with 19 plots out of 7 of the best vineyards in Tokaj, on the Mád terroir. The ageing cellar dates back to the 14th century and is one of the oldest and longest in the region.
