Domaine Holdvölgy produces this Tokaj Birtokvalogatas Signature 2007 from botrytised grapes harvested late, usually at the end of October, from the Furmint, Hárslevelű and Zeta grape varieties. This Tokaj Aszu is a sweet white wine with a sugar content of 125 g/l, which places it at 5 puttonyos and an ageing of 18 months in barrels.
Here is a Tokaj Aszu with an extravagant aromatic richness and a lot of freshness at the same time. The balance between sugar and acidity is perfect and the aromas of honey, tropical fruits and citrus fruits blend together to give a unique whole. A wine whose longevity can be counted in decades...
