VERMENTINO/ROLLE

A rather confidential grape variety that is found mainly in Italy and Corsica under the name of Vermentino and elsewhere in France, under the name of Rolle.

This grape variety offers complex aromas with a characteristic bitterness. In Italy, it gives famous wines in Sardinia, Tuscany and Liguria while in France, it is mainly used in the blends of white and rosé wines from Provence, Corsica and Roussillon.
