Thierry Allemand, grands vins de Cornas

Thierry Allemand is at the head of a 6-hectare vineyard in the Cornas appellation in the northern Rhône Valley, divided into several plots.

After training at Domaine Joseph Michel, he began his career as a winemaker with vines under lease. In 1986, he decided to carry out only natural vinifications, with slow fermentation without pumping over. Vinification is carried out without inputs or sulphur (less than 1g/hl.)

Thierry Allemand's wines are neither certified organic nor biodynamic, but they are natural. The extraction is perfectly controlled and the wines are precise and taut.
